Mike Page is the talented artist wielding the chainsaw with precision. His journey into chainsaw carvings began at a county fair in upstate New York during the summer of 2005. With his background in firewood sales, the allure of chainsaw carving captivated him. Observing other artists transform logs into bear figures, Mike was inspired to try his hand at creating custom chainsaw carvings himself. Since then, he has dedicated himself to this craft full-time.
Through studying the anatomy of a bear, Mike honed his skills, achieving remarkable progress in his chainsaw bear sculptures. His goal is to consistently produce realistic wood carvings that are lifelike, detailed and in proportion. Mike specializes in crafting bears and other animals native to the Adirondacks, exemplifying his expertise in custom chainsaw carvings.
Linda, Mike’s wife, and business partner, adeptly manages all aspects of the business aside from the actual carving. Her role encompasses the finish work, including sanding and painting, as well as handling paperwork and social media marketing.
